Camp Fees:
FIRE Camp Family Pass - Boarding - Meals
Please read all policies carefully. We are not responsible for what you did not take the time to read.
Family Pass:
The Family Camp Pass fee includes, speakers, camp style crafts, activities, evening events, and main group project.
The Family Camp Pass is good for both parents, all children in immediate family and grandparents. Cousins, friends, etc., are not included in the price. We must have the full name and address for each person in your group for insurance purposes. (example: Grandparents that do not live with you.)
Optional crafts and activities: These are paid as you go at FIRE camp itself to individual vendors and teachers. (NOTE: We try to limit the price of paid at the door events to no more then $5.) These include activities such as go carts with the campground, lapbooking seminars etc. 85% or more of the activities offered are already included as part of your Family Camp Pass.
Lodging and meal plans are available for an extra charge. ALL reservations (including pre paid meal cards and lodging) will go through FIRE camp.
Lock in the lowest camp fee today with a deposit of only $100!
Family Camp Pass is $225 per family until March 1st. After that time the fee goes up to $250 per family. After May 15th the fee goes up to $275 per family. There is also a $5 per person fee to help cover the insurance fees. (This does not count discounts we may offer such as our current $100 off family pass rate.) You can lower you camp fee by $25 by working 4 hours as an assistant in one of the activities (our choice). Please be sure to select this option during sign up. You will also be required to attend a brief meeting during the camp in order to go over what you will be doing and learn the activity you will be helping with. We have limited needs for class/activity helpers and when we have reached our quota discounts will no longer be offered. (Note: as of March 24th, 2008 we have filled our need for volunteers! Thank you so much!)
Total invoice balance will include Family Camp Pass, Lodging & Meal Plans (if applicable).
By May 15th, 2008, 50% of total balance is due. (New registrations as of May 15th will be required to put a 50% deposit down.) 100% balance payment due by July 10th. (We need to do this to pay the campground.)
All fees are 100% non refundable. Camp fees are transferable until May 15th, 2008. No exceptions please.
All fees may be paid by check, money order or credit card. Bounced checks will be charged $30. Credit card orders are charged an additional 3% to cover our processing charges from paypal.
Invoices will be sent within 1 week of registration online. Credit Card orders will be sent a request for payment via Paypal. Payments are due within 7 days of invoicing. If minimum payments are not made within 7 days of invoicing or if the 50% and/or 100% due dates are not paid on time, your registration will be cancelled and you will not be refunded anything you may have already paid. Sadly, we have to do this in order to protect ourselves due to a history of many non-paying registrations.
Families are required to sign and return Hold Harmless Agreements with the campground and with FIRE Camp before camp begins.
Some of the policies of the campground include:
Modest dress: no speedos or bikinis etc.
Smoking in designated areas only ( FIRE camp request: Please be respectful to other families and do not smoke near children.)
No pets.
Full (mostly) finalized details and schedule will be in your mailed out newsletter in the beginning of August.
The Faholo Campground in GrassLake, MI has indoor and outdoor pools, beach with boating, playground, go carts, high and low ropes courses, indoor gym and more.
Boarding:
Rooms available may not reflect what is actually available to rent despite our best effort to keep up with registrations. Availability is on a first come, first serve basis. Children under 5 must be registered but do not need to be counted in room pricing.
When there are only a few rooms of any variety left, we will do our best to let you know on this site. (If rooms #'s are listed in red they reflect what is not yet booked/available.) Please remember that this may not reflect current registrations. You will be notified if your boarding option is booked *before* you send any fees. Please bring your own linens regardless of your room choice.

Hotel style rooms. Room options:
A. 2 twin beds and bunks allowing for 4 to 6 people.
Each room has it's own bathroom.
1-2 People = $50/night or $250 for 5 nights
3-6 People = $60/night or $300 for 5 nights
Clay Family Center - No Longer Available
2nd floor rooms (outdoor stairs) Each room has a sink and a mirror. Separate restrooms on second floor, lockers and showers on first floor. Twin beds are bunks.

1-8 People = $35/night or $175 for 5 nights
Camping Sites
You will need to bring your own chairs, tables and fire ring.

Meals:
Meal plans are not required in order to attend camp. There is also the option of buying your meals at the campground for a slightly higher price. Meals are for Monday breakfast to Friday lunch.
Those staying in the Conference Center do not have the ability to cook in room. You can purchase meal cards that can be used by one person or shared among two or more people.
